From January to February 2025, the import volume of American wool textile products totaled US $540 million, an increase of 8.3% year on year. Among them, the import volume of wool textile products from China totaled US $100 million, an increase of 13.8% year on year. The import situation of two major wool textile categories in the US market is quite different. The import value of wool knitted clothing is US $91.97 million, up 14.4% year on year, and the import value of wool woven clothing is US $230 million, down 0.5% year on year.

From January to February 2025, Japan's wool textile product imports amounted to 20 billion yen (about 140 million dollars), down 10.9% year on year. In the same period, Japan imported 6.6 billion yen of wool textile products from China, down 16.8% year on year.

In the first two months of 2025, EU wool textile imports (imports outside the EU) amounted to 640 million euros (about 730 million dollars), down 1.4% year on year. Among them, 230 million euros were imported from China, up 13.4% year on year.
