On April 10, 2025, the first China Egypt flax forum was held in Tanta, Egypt, and nearly 300 representatives from China and Egypt flax industry attended the forum. The purpose of the forum is to actively address and solve the persistent disease of Egyptian flax, improve fiber quality and promote the sustainable development of Egyptian flax industry through exchanges and communication. The forum was hosted by Mr. Zhao Zhigang.

Mr. Dong Chunxing, President of China Hemp Textile Industry Association, Mr. Hu Zhenya, General Manager of Hubei Jinghua Group, and Ms. Wang Tongyao, Business Director of Hong Kong Dongjia Group delivered speeches on behalf of China Hemp Textile Industry Association and linen textile enterprises. They strongly appealed to Egyptian flax farmers, farmers, flax merchants and flax raw material factories to take immediate action. Starting from this year's new flax harvest season, they abandoned chemical fiber ropes and straw ropes from the source, resolutely resisted foreign fibers, and worked together in all aspects to improve the quality of Egyptian flax raw materials to the extent consistent with their trade status.

Egyptian flax raw material factories, farmers and local township government representatives also made speeches successively. They all said that the industry has realized the harm and seriousness of the problem of flax foreign fiber, and made a unanimous commitment to resist foreign fiber from the source, reduce pollution, and provide qualified products for China's flax friends from this year's new flax.
