Industrial Cluster: The Cotton Planting Area In Egypt Increased Year On Year
Egypt Today reported on September 28. According to the data of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, the cotton planting area of the country will reach 311700 acres in 2024, an increase of 23% year on year; Among them, 70548 acres are used to produce cotton seeds for sowing in the designated cotton production area next year. According to the data released by the Egyptian Cabinet in August, the cotton output in 2023 will be 2.1 million tons, of which 81% will be super long staple cotton and long staple cotton.
