Yunnan textile and clothing industry investment projects received 1.27 billion yuan, up 53.8% year on year, and targeted investment promotion made efforts to promote the rapid development of the whole industrial chain of textile and clothing.

In recent years, Yunnan has cultivated and developed the textile and clothing industry as a key field to undertake industrial transfer. This year, the Investment Promotion Bureau of Yunnan Province, in conjunction with Dehong, Zhaotong, Honghe, Baoshan and other prefectures (cities), made full use of the advantages of border areas and labor resources, focused on the upstream and downstream industries such as spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, and home textile to extend the chain and strengthen the chain, and carried out targeted investment attraction. The textile and clothing enterprises in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Fujian, Guangxi and other places have settled in Yunnan. A number of textile and clothing projects, such as Shengtai Garment Processing, Zhonghao Printing and Dyeing, Haohe Zipper, Haoyu Garment Making, Guanpin Garment Processing, and Jinjiang Renhe (Ruili) Industrial Park, have signed contracts and settled in Yunnan, injecting new vitality into the development of Yunnan textile and clothing industry.
