Li Fei said that in recent years, China's textile and clothing exports to African countries have continued to grow, reaching 23.7 billion US dollars in 2022, accounting for nearly 15% of China's total exports to Africa. At the same time, China is also actively importing cotton and other products from Egypt, Benin, Burkina Faso, Sudan and other African countries to meet the diversified needs of the domestic market. Africa is increasingly becoming a new oasis for China's textile and clothing industry to invest abroad.

Facing the opportunity of the times to further deepen China Africa textile and clothing cooperation, Li Fei hopes to further strengthen policy communication and fine weave service network; Make good use of the exhibition platform and closely weave the communication network; Explore innovative development and co weave industrial networks.
