According to the feedback from Cotton Traders in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Qingdao, since mid May, import and export of cotton yarn has been evidently bottoming out, including Vietnamese OE yarn, C21-C32S high package bleaching yarn, Pakistan 8S-16S siro spinning, and high demand cotton yarn in C32. In the sea area, some textile factories, textile enterprises and foreign trade companies pay more attention to port stock yarn (bonded + non bonded) and shipping yarn than 3/4 months.

An import company in Ningbo indicated that, in the 3 and April, Pakistan's domestic cotton yarn production, transportation and port business were basically at a state of suspension due to the impact of the new crown epidemic situation. Therefore, it was common for buyers and sellers to cancel the contract or even unilaterally break the contract. However, as early as May, Pakistan cotton, cotton mills and weaving enterprises were pressing the "restart button", plus nearly half a month. The export quotas of cotton yarn in China have fallen sharply, so Chinese buyers have signed more contracts after breaking the contract. A 2-3 million spindles mill in Pakistan reflects that because of the slow production and low demand of textile and garment enterprises in China, the cotton mills will make breakthroughs in exports to China, Bangladesh and other Southeast Asian countries, and the competition in price and quality is fierce.

From the survey, the main reasons for the warm-up of domestic and foreign cotton yarn in Vietnam and Pakistan are as follows: first, the export orders for textiles, clothing and other export orders have been coming along with Japan and South Korea and Europe in recent years.
