Paraguay Promulgated Trademark Law On Textiles
In February 20, 2020, Paraguay issued a final decree to incorporate group MERCOSUR resolution 62/18, "technical regulations of the common market of textiles" on the trade marks of textiles, into parts of the national law, and partially abolish Act No. 12085th of April 23, 2008.
Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are all members of the Mercosur group. The Southern Common Market approved the unified technical regulations for textile labels in July 2019, aiming at promoting free trade and ensuring the clarity of textile labels.
