When answering questions from reporters, Zou Zhiwu pointed out that in 2019, China's foreign trade was developing with high quality and stable quality. Among them, the new kinetic energy of trade increased significantly. Last year, China's cross-border e-commerce and other foreign trade continued to grow vigorously, with the import and export of Customs cross-border electricity supplier management platform reaching 186 billion 210 million yuan, an increase of 38.3%. The mode of market purchase and import was 562 billion 950 million yuan, an increase of 19.7%. The total contribution rate to the total foreign trade growth is nearly 14%.

In addition, the international competitive advantage has been significantly improved, especially the export brand construction. The export of independent brand goods increased by 12% yuan last year, accounting for nearly 17% of the total value of exports, up 1.1 percentage points from 2018.

Zou Zhiwu also mentioned that China's trade market is more diversified. Domestic enterprises continue to deepen the traditional export market while continuing to develop new markets, with remarkable results. For example, in 2019, the proportion of China's exports to the countries along the belt and the Latin American countries increased, and the effect of developing new markets was obvious.
