The Jeans Redesign project, led by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, was founded by the circular economy charitable group of the United Kingdom, launched by the Make Fashion Circular initiative, and was launched in July. The Jeans Redesign program was launched in July. The purpose is to help fashion brands and manufacturers change the way jeans are produced by solving the problems of waste, pollution and harmful substances.

In addition to announcing the new entrants, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation first allowed the denim factory to take part in the project.

In addition to complying with other guidelines related to "Jeans Redesign", the factory must also follow the ZDHC wastewater guidelines promoted by ZDHC Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, including testing and reporting, and the waste water produced per yard of cloth should not exceed 0.025 cubic meters.

The first batch of jeans produced by the guide will be on sale in 2020.
