Bol.Com, The Largest Online Store In Holland, Is Involved In Brand Clothing.
Holland's Het Financieele Dagblad reported that Holland's largest online store Bol.com plans to set foot in fashion online shopping in January (2020) and prepare for competition with Amazon (Amazon.nl) early next year.
Amazon.nl currently sells books only, but the company plans to set up a wide range of sites in Holland in 2020, and Amazon.nl sells various products in Holland through its German subsidiaries.
According to insiders, Holland Financial Daily: Bol.com is consulting with brand clothing (such as G-star and Tommy Hilfiger). Bol.com plans to enter the field of brand clothing in January 2020. Retail experts predict that there will be fierce competition in Internet sales, and the loss of Wehkamp network stores will suffer the greatest loss.
Bol.com has already sold sportswear and shoes on the Internet, but has not yet set foot in men's and women's fashion. Fashion is the best selling product in the global network. Experts believe that the Bol.com plan announced in January 2020 to enter the field of brand clothing, mainly for Amazon.nl defense.
