The Chinese skills competition, the national textile industry "dragon Cup" warp knitting professional skills competition (hereinafter referred to as "competition"), is an important professional skill competition in the knitting industry, and plays an important role in promoting the construction of highly skilled talents in the warp knitting industry. The national finals of the 2019 competition will be held in mid November in Jinjiang, Fujian.

In 2019, the competition was conducted in a comprehensive way, combining training and competition, and linking basic operations with new skills. At the beginning of the year, the China Knitting Industry Association put forward the general idea of competition and formulated the first draft of rules. The competition was officially launched in April. On the basis of the "three tasks, two main lines and one goal" mode in the knitting industry competition, the competition work plan was put forward. In May, referee training and textbook compilation were held, and the industry skills training plan was put forward. Since June, operation regulations and vocational skills system training has been gradually carried out in various localities. The selection campaign was launched in July in the main warp knitting industrial cluster in the country, requiring the participants to have solid basic skills and good professional quality, and the three basic operations are highly skilled and efficient. At the end of September, Guangdong and other provinces and cities preliminaries showed that the speed and quality of players were significantly higher than those expected at the beginning of the year.

The warp knitting industry has carried out the training of operational skills on a large scale, and has put forward new ideas for the manufacture of warp knitting machines. This competition is a test of the performance of warp knitting machines. Warp knitting machine moves towards intelligent high-end, and will also put forward new requirements for operators.
