The Vietnamese parliament met to discuss the amendments to the Vietnamese labor law, including overtime adjustment. At present, the Standing Committee of the Vietnamese parliament has discussed the 2 adjustment plans on Chen's Congress.

Plan 1: retain the maximum number of overtime hours stipulated in the existing labor law, but only increase the number of overtime hours to 40 hours / month, replace the current 30 hours / month, and add detailed provisions to increase the number of overtime hours from 200 to 300 hours / year, so that the workers can understand and supervise compliance with the protection of workers' rights and interests and health.

Programme two: according to the proposal of the Vietnamese government, the current working hours increased by 400 hours / year at 300 hours. The scheme does not control the number of overtime hours per month. However, the government must continue to study the recommendations of members of Congress. It can consolidate the list of overtime hours of 300 hours / year to 400 hours / year, and evaluate its impact on society. It also supplements the cumulative overtime pay from 201st or 301st hours and detailed draft of Congress.
