From August 21st to 22, the National Standard Committee of textile Standardization Technical Committee (TC209/SC1) held the standard examination and appraisal of textile insulation performance in Qinhuangdao. Nearly 120 representatives from research institutes, customs, quality inspection systems, inspection institutions, production enterprises and standard drafting units attended the meeting.

　　 The meeting was presided over by Ma Yongmei, general manager of China textile standard certification and certification and vice chairman of TC209/SC1. Sun Ximin, deputy director of the Ministry of science and technology development of the China Federation of textile industry and chairman of TC209/SC1, summarized the importance of the basic method standards from five aspects: International interoperability, commonweal, coordination, authentication and correlation with consumer demand, and pointed out the direction of the future development of textile basic method standards from three aspects, namely, fitting consumer experience, docking industrial development needs and promoting the application of new testing technology. Xu Lu, Secretary General of TC209/SC1, explained the overall situation of the seven standards for the trial, and put forward specific requirements and guiding suggestions on the essentials and principles of examination.

　　 In accordance with the approval process, experts attending the meeting listened to the instructions of the standard drafting group on the compilation of the standards and the summary of the soliciting opinions, and seriously discussed each standard and put forward amendments. The conference approved and adopted 7 national and industry standards such as "testing and evaluation of thermal insulation properties of textiles", and recommended that it be submitted as a recommended standard.
