According to Zhengzhou customs statistics, the total import and export value of Henan in the first 5 months of this year was 173 billion 970 million yuan (RMB), down 1.8% from the same period last year, a decrease of 2.9 percentage points over the first 4 months.

In the first 5 months, Henan's general trade import and export volume was 75 billion 430 million yuan, an increase of 7%, accounting for over 40% of the total foreign trade value of the province in the same period, and continued to maintain a relatively fast growth rate.

The import and export of private enterprises in the first 5 months of the province was 61 billion 150 million yuan, an increase of 12.7%, accounting for more than 30% of the total foreign trade value of the province in the same period.

Among them, ASEAN imports and exports 21 billion 300 million yuan, an increase of 14.2%; imports and exports to Africa 8 billion 680 million yuan, an increase of 35.3%.

Customs analysis said that in the first half of May, in terms of exports, Henan's exports of labor-intensive products and automobiles maintained a relatively high growth rate. Imports, copper ore, iron ore and other imports grew rapidly.

According to statistics, in the first 5 months, Henan's clothing exports were 2 billion 850 million yuan, an increase of 16%; furniture exports 1 billion 600 million yuan, an increase of over 60%; automobile exports 2 billion 100 million yuan, an increase of nearly 50%.
