Foshan Customs announced the import and export data of Foshan in the first ten months yesterday.

Data show that in the first ten months of this year, the total value of foreign trade and import and export in Foshan amounted to 332 billion 380 million yuan, up 8.8% from the same period last year, and the growth rate slowed down.

It is worth mentioning that in the first ten months, Foshan's clothing exports increased by 10%, and the imports of high-tech products dropped by 12%.

Five areas of foreign trade and import and export data maintained general growth, including Chancheng, South China Sea and Sanshui import and export volume increased by over 10%.

General trade import and export growth slightly dropped, in 1~10 months, Foshan general trade import and export 182 billion 210 million yuan, an increase of 0.6%; processing trade import and export 142 billion 570 million yuan, an increase of 19.6%.

In terms of specific products, the export growth rate of electromechanical products and labor-intensive products continued to accelerate, and the export of high-tech products continued to slow down.

In 1~10 months, Foshan's labor intensive products exported 38 billion 330 million yuan, an increase of 4.9%, of which furniture and parts exported 11 billion 750 million yuan, an increase of 5.1%; clothing and accessories exports 11 billion 400 million yuan, an increase of 10.5%.

Import products, electromechanical products, high-tech products and agricultural products [0.27% Funds Research Report] import decline continues to narrow.

Among them, the import of electrical and electronic products was 8 billion 360 million yuan, down by 18.2%; the import of high-tech products was 17 billion 440 million yuan, down by 12.1%; and that of imported agricultural products was 2 billion 210 million yuan, down 35.3%.

Imports of sawn timber, auto parts and waste plastics have increased in Foshan's main imports, of which lumber imports have increased by 24.6%.

In 1~10 months, Foshan's imports and exports to Hongkong, the largest trading partner, China's Hongkong and the second largest trading partners, increased by 30.1% and 53.4% respectively, but the growth rate declined. The EU's growth in imports and exports of the third largest trading partners was 5.4%, narrowing by 0.3 percentage points over the 1~9 month growth rate.

The increase of import and export volume in the three districts of Zen south is over 10%.

The import and export situation of the five districts has maintained a general growth. The growth rate of the South China Sea region has dropped, the growth rate of the Shunde area has expanded, and the growth rate of Chancheng district has been slowing down.

In 1~10 months, the import and export volume of Shunde district increased by 132 billion 400 million yuan, an increase of 6.1%; the import and export of Nanhai District was 106 billion 290 million yuan, an increase of 10%; the import and export of Chancheng district was 69 billion 940 million yuan, an increase of 12%; the import and export of Gaoming District was 12 billion 200 million yuan, 4.9% growth; and the import and export of Sanshui area 11 billion 540 million yuan, an increase of 13.4%.

On the export side, the five districts generally increased, and the growth of Sanshui, Nanhai and Chancheng increased by 16%, 14.6% and 10.4% respectively.

On the other hand, the Chancheng area increased by 15.5%, the Sanshui district increased by 9.9%, and the Gaoming District decreased by 11.1%.
