Enterprises put forward the initiative: "speed up the process of digitalization, automation and intellectualization of cotton textiles", and realize the "night shift" unmanned vehicle as soon as possible, and jointly promote the pformation and upgrading of the industry, and move towards a textile power.

The proposal points out that China's economic structure and population structure have undergone great changes. The new generation of laborers has higher expectations for work and work environment. The whole manufacturing industry is generally short of labor force, and the cotton textile industry as a traditional labor-intensive industry is particularly prominent.

Since the beginning of the new century, China's cotton textile industry has been developing rapidly at home and abroad under the market demand. After years of unremitting efforts by the industry, the average employment level of domestic spinning yarns has increased from 300 in 80s to 200 in 2000, and now it is close to 70 people / 10000 spindles.

Nevertheless, there is still a gap in employment. One of the crux of the problem is that textile production facilities are relatively low in number, automation and intelligence, especially night shifts.

The proposal says that the current breakthroughs in cotton textile automation technology have brought revolutionary changes to the industry, and the technologies such as blowing carding, coarse and thin connection, automatic yarn packaging and storage system, shuttle less loom, and whole process information technology have greatly improved the labor productivity of spinning and reduced the number of workers employed.

At present, a number of excellent enterprises in China have made active explorations in the following aspects: two integration, digital process, automation, information technology and intelligent production line. Some achievements have been made in the unattended night work. The most advanced production line can be maintained to 1525 people, and the cost of labor is huge compared with other enterprises.
