It is understood that in the first half of 2012, the autonomous region Fiber Inspection Bureau conducted supervision and spot checks on fiber products, clothing and plush fibers and products distributed in Lingwu and Tongxin areas in Yinchuan, and inspected 90 production and processing enterprises.
Among them, there are 17 garment manufacturing enterprises, 15 cotton producing enterprises, 2 textile producing enterprises, 56 Plush fibers and their products enterprises, and 94 samples of all kinds of products are sampled. Among them: 24 batches of garments, 15 batches of cotton wool, 5 batches of textiles, 62 batches of wool fabrics and their products.
The inspection items for the wadding fiber products include 5 items, such as identification, raw material requirements, hygienic requirements, impurity content and short fiber content. The garment inspection items mainly aim at the safety technical indexes, such as formaldehyde, pH value and color fastness, and physical properties such as marking, appearance, sewing, seam strength, etc.

Through this inspection, the staff found that a large proportion of small-scale cotton and garment enterprises were generally small, and the production environment and process equipment and other basic conditions were poor. The knowledge of standards was not in place or even without standard production.
The internal quality of individual enterprises has such problems as improper quality control, excessive dimensional deviation, no marking of products or irregular marking. Problems such as incomplete clothing identification, content of ingredients in cotton filler, only content without ingredients, washing instructions only have no symbols.
In view of the problems found in the inspection, the Autonomous Region Inspection Bureau requires all enterprises to actively rectify.
