In 2011, the output value of Jiangsu's textile and garment industry was 11500 billion yuan.

The fourteenth Jiangsu International Fashion Festival held a press conference in Beijing in March 25th.

This clothing festival is hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial People's government, supported by the Ministry of industry and information technology, CO sponsored by China Federation of textile industry, jointly organized by Jiangsu economic and Information Committee and Jiangsu Textile Industry Association. It will be held in Nanjing International Expo Center on September 14th -16.

This clothing festival takes the theme of "brand and fashion" as the theme, and strive to create an important professional platform for communication and cooperation, trade and exhibition at home and abroad. It is composed of three parts: exposition, 2012 Jiangsu fashion week and series activities.

The Expo highlights its own brand display, highlights international participation, highlights fashion trends and highlights industrial chain docking.

The Expo will set up 1200 booths, with about 1000 agents and franchisees and about 20 thousand professional buyers.

It is reported that during the "11th Five-Year" period, Jiangsu's textile and garment industry first entered the ranks of trillions of industries in the whole country.

In 2011, faced with a severe development environment, Jiangsu's textile and garment industry still achieved remarkable results.

The total industrial output value reached 11500 billion yuan, an increase of 21.3% over the same period last year, and the rate of profit growth is higher than the growth rate of output value, reaching 57 billion yuan, an increase of 23%.

Despite the severe export of the international market, the export of Jiangsu's textile and garment industry is still up to 42 billion 588 million US dollars, an increase of 21.48%, ranking third in the whole country.
