This report is divided into six independent chapters, including the general theory of industrial competitiveness, the analysis of the quality of industrial operation, the competitiveness analysis of industrial clusters, the analysis of brand competitiveness, the analysis of professional market competitiveness, and the analysis of industrial soft power, in order to draw the true layout of Guangdong's clothing industry wealth and comprehensive strength.

Meanwhile, each chapter maintains relative breadth assessment and in-depth analysis of latitude and longitude, and seeks to give corresponding development proposals. With a view to analyzing the competitiveness of Guangdong's garment industry system in a short period of time, it will provide a strong reference for the government's policy of designing and promoting the acceleration of competitiveness in Guangdong's clothing industry. It will encourage enterprises to enhance their comprehensive competitiveness, pay attention to the dynamic changes of their competitiveness and the combination of various elements that constitute the competitiveness of the industry, so as to provide projects for the industry, and guide the industry to enhance competitiveness and establish a sustainable development strategy from the micro perspective.

It is foreseeable that the apparel industry will continue to play an irreplaceable role in the future of building a well-off society in an all-round way and taking the lead in realizing modernization in Guangdong.

The rapid development of Guangdong's garment industry depends on whether the competitiveness of Guangdong's garment industry is solid, and cultivating new competitive advantages is the hardest core of pformation and upgrading of Guangdong's garment industry.

Objectively evaluating the status and role of Guangdong's garment industry and studying the competitiveness of Guangdong's garment industry are of great significance for Guangdong's economic construction to take the lead in achieving the goal of modernization. The smooth implementation of the report has been strongly supported by the departments of the provincial government. The deputy director of the consumer goods industry department of the Guangdong Provincial Commission on economic and information technology spoke at the same time. He believed that the report stood at the height of the whole industry and studied the major competitiveness indicators very systematically, making up for the lack of theoretical research on the garment industry in the whole province. It objectively assessed the status and role of Guangdong's clothing industry, and had important guiding significance for the scientific development of the clothing industry, enterprises and brands.
