The production line of capacity of 1700 tons / year was completed in August last year, but the production line was postponed due to the weakening of carbon fiber demand due to the recession.

With the increasing demand for global carbon fiber this year, especially in the areas of aircraft, sports, leisure and industrial applications, Toho has decided to put in a new production line to further optimize global production.

Toho said that due to the recession, global carbon fiber sales in 2009 dropped to about 23000 tons, and is expected to grow by 15% this year.

Toho is a world-renowned carbon fiber producer whose global capacity is about 13900 tons / year, and is distributed in Germany, Japan and the United States.
