After careful scrutinize, the officers found 11750 pairs of men's shoes printed with "SEBAGO", "GUCCI", "TIMBERLAND" and "BALLY" in the goods declared as "men's shoes", and found 8700 pairs of sneakers with "NIKE" commercial logo hidden in the other batch of goods declared as "wooden cabinet door plank".
After the confirmation of the relevant trademark owner, the above goods infringe the exclusive right to use the relevant trademark.
According to the regulations on Customs Protection of intellectual property in People's Republic of China, the Tianjin customs will temporarily suspend the above-mentioned infringing goods and will further handle them.
While enhancing the awareness and professional skills of intellectual property protection for front-line customs officers, Tianjin has increased the risk analysis of high-risk enterprises and commodities through various means, enhanced the pertinence and effectiveness of the seizure, and made the "Shanzhai" goods have no escape from Tianjin port.
From 1 to July 2010, Tianjin Customs seized 62 cases of infringement cases in shipping export channels, involving 25 million 193 thousand yuan in value and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of many famous brands at home and abroad.
