The knitting industry in Bangladesh is affected by the abnormal price of knitting yarns and the decrease in supply.

Shortages are a fatal blow to some sectors, such as bleaching, dyeing, cutting and sewing factories, which will eventually affect about 150 thousand workers.
Agarwala said at the press conference that the price of knitting yarn has soared since November 1009.
