GB/T 2664-2009 " Men's suit "Coat" has been made by the state recently. Quality Supervision Approved by the General Administration of inspection and quarantine and the State Administration of standardization, it will be implemented in January 1, 2010. The standard specifies the requirements, testing methods, classification rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of men's suits and coats. This standard is applicable to men's suits and overcoats, such as wool, wool blended fabrics, woven fabrics, imitation wool and other woven fabrics.

The main contents of the standard include: Normalization Reference documents, requirements (instructions, size specifications, raw materials, warp and weft yarn, alignment, stitching, chromatic aberration, appearance defects, sewing, finished product main parts specification deviation, appearance quality, ironing appearance and physical and chemical properties), testing methods (inspection tools, finished product specification determination, physical and chemical properties determination), inspection classification rules (inspection classification, quality classification rules, sampling rules and decision rules), logo, packaging, transportation and storage. Appendix A of this standard, "test method for sewing crack" is a normative appendix.

The main technical differences between the standard and GB/T 2664-2001 are:

1, revised the scope of application of the standard;

2, supplemented normative reference documents;

3, complements the content of product instructions.

4, modify the contents of appearance defects.

5, increase the pH value, decompose carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, smell and other assessment, water washing after the size change rate, fabric tear strength and other requirements;

6, increased the color fastness to soaping, moisture and rubbing fastness, water color fastness, light fastness assessment requirements.

7, revised the assessment requirements of slippage.

8, modify the content of product quality defects.

9, modify the content of single appearance judgement;

10, revised appendix A content.
