For a long time, the textile and Trade Commission has been conscientiously carrying out its obligations under the relevant laws and regulations of the state, and standardizing the protection of intellectual property rights. It is a model for protecting intellectual property rights of exhibitions in domestic exhibition organizations, and has been invited to participate in the relevant laws and regulations of the relevant state departments.

In order to implement the notice issued by the 8 departments of the State Intellectual Property Office and CCPIT at the beginning of the year on the launching of a special action to protect intellectual property rights in World Expo in 2010, the textile and Trade Promotion Committee will further intensify relevant work to create a good atmosphere for intellectual property protection for the 6 exhibitions held in World Expo.

The textile and Trade Promotion Committee will do a good job in signing the intellectual property rights undertaking of the exhibitions, and prompt the intellectual property rights of the exhibitors before the exhibitions are launched. By continuing the establishment of the intellectual property office at the exhibition sites, the intellectual property disputes in the field will be handled in a timely manner to prevent the occurrence of serious violations. The administrative law enforcement agencies of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office, copyright bureau and other administrative law enforcement agencies will be invited to join the exhibition and jointly with experts in intellectual property rights to ensure the authority and impartiality of the dispute settlement.

The Textile Trade Promotion Committee attaches importance to and strengthens the exhibition's intellectual property protection. The aim is to encourage textile enterprises to develop their own research and original design, create a favorable trading environment for the industry's independent innovation and industrial upgrading, so as to enhance the textile industry's "technology contribution rate" and "brand contribution rate".

It is reported that the seventh member congress of the China branch of the International Intellectual Property Protection Association (AIPPI) was held in Beijing in May 4th, and the new Council was elected by the general assembly.

At the invitation of the China branch of the International Intellectual Property Protection Association, the textile Promotion Committee joined the organization to become its collective member unit. Lin Yunfeng, Secretary General of the textile and Trade Promotion Committee, was elected to be the new council member of the China branch of the International Intellectual Property Protection Association.

Since 1997, through the establishment of the office of intellectual property protection at the exhibition site, the textile trade promotion commission has accumulated a set of experience in the protection of the intellectual property rights of the exhibition, and has promoted the protection of the intellectual property rights in the textile industry by organizing seminars and training courses.

Joining the China branch of the international intellectual property protection association will help to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the intellectual property circles and give full play to the role of professional associations in the protection of intellectual property rights.
