According to Chen Jianshe, chairman of Wenzhou zipper chamber and chairman of Zhejiang zipper Co., Ltd., in September last year, the overall price of Fujian zippers was even lower than that of Wenzhou.

Before that, the zipper industry grades and prices in Wenzhou were lower than those in Fujian, so the price war in Fujian zipper industry was fierce.

According to Mr. Cai, director of a zipper enterprise in Quanzhou, many enterprises even reduced production requirements during the price war.

Mr. Cai gave an example. The pulling force of a product was generally 35N, but in order to reduce costs, enterprises gradually reduced the standard to 20N and 15N, which was only slightly higher than the national standard.

"We believe that the low standard is a great inducement.

Because the standard has not been updated and revised in a timely manner, it has not kept pace with the development of the industry, which has given the company a chance to get lucky.

As a result, the quality of the products in the whole zipper industry in Fujian has been greatly reduced. It seems that a few years ago, the whole industry was in a vicious circle of retrogression. "

And this heavy responsibility falls on the industry leader headed by Fujian Xun Xing zipper Polytron Technologies Inc.

Last October, after approval by the national standards committee, Xun Xing was allowed to set up a national zipper Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "bid committee").

Subsequently, the Bid Committee began collecting technical committees nationwide.

"Fujian has reported four enterprises: Xun Xing, Fu Xing, Xin Yu and Qun Xing, all of which are honest and honest in the industry, as well as representatives of zipper enterprises, testing institutions and scientific research institutions from Jiangsu and Zhejiang and Guangdong."

Yu Pei, deputy director of Xun Xing zipper office, said that at the end of last year, preparations had been basically completed.

However, due to the coordination and approval procedures, there is no further progress in the work of the present tender committee.

"Everyone thinks that in addition to product standards, technology and equipment standards should also be included in the new standard.

In the past ten years, China's zipper industry has developed rapidly, and the upgrading of machinery has greatly improved the production technology. This is the key factor to ensure the development of the zipper industry.

Yiwu introduces the first local standard of zipper industry

In August 2009, the Yiwu zipper industry alliance standard was first approved and implemented in zipper enterprises in Yiwu.

The relevant experts of the zipper branch of the National Hardware Association believe that the Yiwu zipper Union standard has integrated the three original standards of the country, making it more convenient to use, and the standard layout is more reasonable.

According to the introduction, the Yiwu zipper Union standard adopted the German DIN zipper standard, the BS zipper standard and other advanced indicators and requirements of the zipper standards in various countries and regions. The environmental protection, ecology and safety were the focus of the standard setting, and the more prevailing European environmental protection and ecological certification standards were included in the standard.

The head of Yiwu zipper trade association indicated that in the newly established Yiwu zipper Union standard, the problems such as zipper size and other vague problems have been solved, and the new standard has set up a complete database for this purpose.

This will help Yiwu zipper enterprises effectively cope with the green trade barriers of the European and American countries, and enhance the competitiveness and market share of the Yiwu zipper international market.
