Notice on Convening the Symposium on the Analysis of the Production and Marketing Situation of the National Cocoon and Silk Industry

All relevant units:

On April 10, Global Textile Network, in order to correctly grasp the operating trend of the cocoon and silk industry, build confidence in industry development, and promote the steady development of China's cocoon and silk industry, according to the "Key Points of China Silk Association's Work in 2009" determined by the second board meeting of the fifth session of the China Silk Association, after research, The CCPIT Sichuan Council is scheduled to hold a symposium on the analysis of the production and marketing situation of the national cocoon and silk industry in Guilin, Guangxi in early May. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

　　 1、 Meeting content:

1. Exchange the production and sales of cocoon and silk, analyze the market situation of cocoon and silk, and discuss the development trend of cocoon and silk industry;

2. Introduce the quality of raw silk commodity inspection in some major silk producing areas;

3. Visit Guangxi sericulture production base and cocoon drying station (voluntary).

The meeting will invite relevant leaders of the National Cocoon and Silk Coordination Office to the meeting, and invite relevant insiders to introduce the current situation of domestic and foreign cocoon and silk markets.

3、 Time and place of the meeting:

1. Meeting time: report on May 6, hold a meeting on May 7, and visit from May 8 to 9.

1. All provincial and municipal silk associations are requested to assist in organizing local relevant units to attend the conference and provide relevant data for discussion and reference according to Annex 1;

2. It is planned to compile and print a compilation of conference materials, including the survey and analysis report of industry prosperity and silk statistics, and send it to each representative. The introduction of enterprise experience and new technology and new products can also be included in the compilation of materials. Please send the materials that need to be compiled into the compilation of materials to the Secretariat of the Council in electronic format before April 25 (e-mail: yangaiping2@ sohu.com)。

3. The cost of board, lodging and conference for the representatives attending the conference: 900 yuan/person. The cost of board, lodging and transportation for the field visitors shall be borne by themselves according to the actual expenses;
