Shandong Textile And Apparel Association Research Team To Gaomi City
Led by Teng Huizhen, vice president of Shandong Textile Industry Association, a group of 7 people came to Gaomi City to conduct research on the development of textile and garment industry. Jia Qinqing, vice mayor of Gaomi City, introduced the basic situation of the textile and garment industry in Gaomi City, and accompanied the research team into the field research, such as Fu's home textiles, Dachang textile, Huayan garment, Hua Zhen textile, Lihua textile and other enterprises.
Last year, Gaomi City took the goal of setting up a large industry, carried out "enterprise year" activities in depth, and accelerated the concentration of industries, enterprises, technology and parks, forming a "big, high and dense" situation and realizing cluster development. Among them, the textile industry is developing very fast. There are 739 textile and garment enterprises in the city, accounting for 40% of the total industrial output value of the whole city. Last year, the city's textile and garment industry achieved sales revenue of 19 billion 740 million yuan, profits and taxes of 1 billion 330 million yuan, and exports of foreign exchange earning $576 million.
After listening to the introduction of the basic situation of Gaomi City's textile and garment industry, The Shandong Textile Industry Association has highly valued Gaomi City's sustained and stable development in the current economic environment, and hopes that Gaomi City's textile and garment industry will adjust the export oriented strategy in a timely manner, increase R & D, eliminate backward production capacity, and promote the upgrading of enterprises and products.
