The Export Volume Of Thailand'S Textile Industry Will Increase By 10%.
According to Thailand World Journal November 15th, Bacha, Minister of industry in Thailand, pointed out that the textile industry in China plays an important role in economic development, with an annual export volume of up to 240 billion baht.
Thailand textile industry Dean Wei LAK said that despite the current economic and financial problems, it is expected that the textile industry's export volume will increase by 10% this year, and textiles are necessities of life, with an estimated value of 76-77 billion US dollars.
The export trend in 2009 must be observed before the first quarter of 2009, but it is expected that the country will benefit from the US's strict supervision of China's imports. After strict control over China's commodity imports, European countries turned businesses to Thailand and China was also their own export market. Wei said that before the financial turmoil in the United States, the target of textile exports amounted to US $12 billion in 2013 and expanded the ASEAN market.
At present, the ASEAN market imports textiles from abroad, and imports from Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and China amount to 1 billion US dollars. If Thailand can increase its market share, it will increase the export volume of Thai textile industry.
Wei lac said that under the current situation, I believe there will be no layoffs in the Thai textile industry, and the whole Thai textile industry still lacks 30 thousand technicians. At present, there are about 70-80 million workers in the textile industry. According to market information, 180 textile factories have gone bankrupt this year, but there are as many as 190 newly established factories. There are different reasons for the closure of textile factories, such as the reluctance of factory owners to adjust themselves to the market, unwilling to adjust trade patterns, and so on, resulting in enterprises unable to compete with other companies. Factories must invest in high-tech machines to produce high quality goods.
