WTO WTO'S Final Round Of Doha Round Negotiations Failed
The 29 small Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization WTO failed to make a breakthrough on the controversial issues of agriculture and non-agricultural products market access in the Doha round, and the negotiations finally broke down.
Diplomats involved in the negotiations told Xinhua that on the same day, important members of the 7 WTO, such as the United States, the European Union, Japan, Australia, India, Brazil and China, could not agree on unresolved differences in the special safeguard mechanism of agricultural products in developing countries in a small range of consultations, which meant that the 9 day negotiations ended in failure.
Representatives of the more than 30 members of the WTO began ministerial consultations in Geneva on the 21 th, trying to make a key effort to complete the Doha Round negotiations within the year.
