Now 80% of Vietnam's leather raw materials are imported from Korea, Brazil and China.

Reported that the United States Leather Industry Association for the first time in Hu Zhiming city to export leather raw materials trade promotion activities.

Over the past two years, Vietnam's import of American leather raw materials has increased by 300-400%, and its imports increased from US $11 million 600 thousand in 2005 to US $57 million 800 thousand in 2007.

This is the main reason why the American Leather Association intends to sell leather raw materials directly to Vietnam.
