On the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games, the shoes worn by the Chinese sports delegation are made by Qi Sheng shoe industry Co., Ltd., a local private enterprise in Houjie town.

Not only that, all leather shoes worn by Chinese athletes in the opening and closing ceremonies, including "flying man" Liu Xiang, "giant" Yao Ming and so on, are all truly "thick Street manufacturing".

Two thousand pairs of shoes are mainly made by hand.

"In May, the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee sent an order to produce the leather shoes of the Chinese delegation and the Chinese Olympic Organizing Committee officials at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games."

Yin Jiqi, chairman of Qisheng shoes industry, said that the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee issued a total of 2000 pairs of leather shoes orders to the Qisheng shoe industry, and requested that they should be sent to Beijing by July 30th.

After receiving this special order, Qisheng company immediately deployed the design and production of "Olympic leather shoes".

The concept of "Olympic leather shoes" is comfortable, light and casual.

Zhou Xingfang, manager of Qisheng company, said that the company used high-grade imported cowhide as the production material of "Olympic leather shoes", and incorporated Olympic elements and Chinese classical elements into the design. The soles and insoles were printed with the words "Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Chinese sports delegation", while taking full consideration of the matching of clothing.

"Olympic leather shoes" are mainly made by hand, and the style is biased towards business and leisure.

Zhou Xingfang introduced, "Olympic leather shoes" has designed four styles, of which two are men and women, and OCOG officials wear black leather shoes, and athletes wear white leather shoes.

Zhou Xingfang disclosed that Yao Ming's leather shoes were 55 yards, and the shoe industry of Qi Sheng did not make such a big leather shoe. The shoe mold was still sent from Beijing.

The number of men's shoes ordered by the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee is 38-55 yards, and women's shoes are 36-45 yards.

Yao Ming, who wears 55 yards of shoes, is only one of the shoes. In order to make Yao Ming's shoes, Qisheng has made a shoe template with a size of 55 yards.
